Important Notice! In an effort to keep the integrity and effectiveness of our special programs such as Special Needs Campers (40), Buddies Intensive (8), Junior Camp Counselors (12), and Yak Apprentice (12) there will be a cap for participants each week, noted in parentheses. Once the cap is reached, a wait list will be generated. Please don’t wait to register because these programs fill up fast!

Yak Travelers: The Next Adventure - Day 2

It’s so hard to believe that we are already day 2 in week 5! We started our Terrific Tuesday with a daily nature walk and morning meeting. In Play class, Miss Elise got us all warmed up with a “roll the dice” activity where we practiced jumping, crawling and crab walking to get our bodies moving. Then we transitioned to a game of duck duck goose where we practiced waiting, taking turns and cheering on our friends! We finished Play with the goodbye song to move on to the rest of our day!

After lunch we had a great day playing with friends on the playground and we even got to make our own passports! We ended our day with some water play and our famous dance party! Did someone say the Gummy Bear song? What a fun day!!!
