4+ Week Internship Program               

Internship Experience

Interns are college students and dependable & hard-working high school seniors, who are admitted into a rigorous training and hands-on learning program for 4 consecutive weeks and a few pre-camp orientation and prep days, in addition to online pre-camp training. The perks of being an intern can be found in the intern manual (see below).

Dates & Hours of Internship

Interns must attend ALL dates listed below. For those who cannot commit this entire time, we suggest volunteering at camp as a Camp Counselor for 1 or more weeks to fit your schedule. 

  • Pre-Camp Training (flexible hours, May-June; includes online training/discussions): 10 hours

  • Move-in Day & Intern Luncheon  - TBD one day during week of June 26-29

  • Pre-Camp Training & Prep June 30, July 1, 2 (possibly July 3)

  • 4+Week Camp Sessions (July 7 - Aug 1, Mon-Fri, 8:30-3:30, onsite at camp)

  • Move-out Day, Intern Reviews, Intern Luncheon August 2

  • Total Hours of Internship: 200 hours

Stipend for CYY Internship

A stipend of $500 is provided to all interns on August 2nd to help defray the cost of transportation to participate in the internship.
